Kia provides a Sneak Peak at its Upcoming PV7 Electric Van
If you have watched Jim’s review of the all-electric KIA PV5, it’s fair to say that he was quite smitten with it. However, there’s a new bigger brother with the introduction of Kia’s second electric van; the all-new Kia PV7.
The PV7 will officially makes its debut on 14th September in Hannover, Germany, expanding their light commercial vehicle (LCV) offerings with a larger van and an increase in space and capability.

Kia will also present more versions of the PV5, including a PV5 Cargo L2/H2, PV5 Cargo L1/H1, PV5 Chassis, PV5 Passenger 7-seat, PV5 WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) and PV5 Food Truck as Kia expands their original electric van line-up to accommodate a variety of different use cases a year after it launched.
The PV7 is built on Kia’s dedicated E-GMP.S platform and Kia promises future derivatives that will further expand the line-up, just as it’s doing with the PV5. Personally, I would love to see Kia get into the electric campervan market and create something iconic.
However, for now we’ll have to wait until the official debut of the PV7 in a few weeks to get further information on range, specs, prices and variants.
