Chery TIGGO 4 CSH Hybrid Specs and Details Released

As promised a few weeks ago, full specs and details are now released for the Chery TIGGO 4, a B segment hybrid, compact SUV.

Starting from £19,995 and £21,995, two trim levels will be available called Aspire and Summit and each get the fifth-generation Chery Super Hybrid system with 204PS and 310Nm of torque from a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to an electric drive system and a 1.83 kWh battery.

The Aspire trim will receive dual 12.3-inch digital displays, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and “Hello CHERY” intelligent voice control as standard.

The Aspire also comes with fabric upholstery, heated wing mirrors, electric windows and a rear-view parking camera, as well as a connected digital interface.

Summit adds what Chery describes as “eco-leather” upholstery, a 360-degree camera, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, cooled wireless phone charging and privacy glass.

Both trims offer exceptional value when compared to competition from Volkswagen with their T-Cross starting at a snip under £26,000.

At 4.32 metres in length, but retaining an elevated seating position, the TIGGO 4 SUV hybrid will tick many boxes for a lot of people.
The boot capacity extends to a very useable 1,155 litres with the rear seats folded.

Wheels are 17-inch alloy and there are six body colours to choose from: Arctic White, Midnight Black, Orbit Silver, Slate Grey, Solar Flare Red and Storm Grey.

Safety is strong, too, with a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems including Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning and Rear Collision Warning.

For those concerned by a relatively new brand entering the U.K. market, the Chery is offered with a comprehensive 7-year/100,000-mile warranty and an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty on the battery.

The TIGGO 4 CSH is available to pre-order now through CHERY UK’s expanding retailer network.
