Bentley Teases an All-New Car

The all-new Bentley Torcal joins as the fourth model currently on sale, but remains tight-lipped about what it is, and what powers it.

Bentley says the name is “inspired by extraordinary landscapes - El Torcal de Antequera is a remarkable natural landmark in Spain … a dramatic limestone landscape of stacked rock formations, cliffs and labyrinths, shaped by nature over millions of years yet continuing to evolve.”

The all-new Bentley Torcal becomes the fourth model alongside the Continental GT, Flying Spur and Bentayga, and will continue to mix craftsmanship and performance together to create luxury cars coveted by many with exquisitely appointed interiors, just as they set out to do since 1919.

Bentley’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, comments: “For 107 years Bentleys have been the most incredibly complete cars - effortless performance, outstanding comfort, exquisite British handcraftsmanship using the best natural materials and a soundtrack with soul. Our new Torcal sets extraordinary benchmarks in every area that matters, and may just be the most considered car in our history.

Much meaning has been derived for the name of Bentley’s new car, being from the Latin “torquere”, meaning to twist, but better known in modern circles as Torque.
Bentley says “Torcal therefore also implies effortless progression.”

Does this give us a clue as to what powers it…?

Unfortunately, we will have to wait for answers, because for those who are excited by a new car from Bentley there’s more than a two month wait until its fully revealed in London on 23 September 2026.

However, Bentley promises to tease more updates of the Torcal in the coming weeks up to its reveal in late 23 September.
