Price Parity Reaches Vauxhall Vans
Back in March we brought news of price parity having reached the refreshed Vauxhall Astra, regardless of powertrain or bodystyle.
And now Vauxhall is at it again but this time with vans and with a slight catch. The Combo Electric and Vivaro Electric are now at the same price as their diesel versions when purchasing through the Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) Conditional Sale, LEASYS Business Contract Hire and SFS Finance Lease.
For retail business customers, they can save an extra £1,000 on all LCV Vauxhall vans during their ‘Professional Days’ sales event running until 31st May. Deliveries must happen by 30th September.
In addition, Vauxhall offers a complimentary Ohme EV charger including a standard residential installation (up to the value of £1,050 incl. VAT). This double deal allows customers to take advantage of cheaper off-peak home electricity tariffs that will substantially save money on running costs, given the current high diesel prices.
Vauxhall states “SME customers can lease a Vauxhall Combo Electric in top-spec Pro trim on LEASYS Business Contract Hire for just £305 per month, including the Professional Days Event – identical to the equivalent diesel version on the same terms (36 months, 10,000 miles per annum, six months’ initial rental). Alternatively, customers can opt for a Vivaro Electric for £335 per month on the same terms with no premium over the diesel version”.

Eurig Druce, Vauxhall Managing Director & Stellantis UK Group Managing Director, said: “Our pioneering pricing strategy on models such as Frontera and the new Astra is helping more motorists make the switch to electric, so we’re pleased to now be able to make our award-winning electric vans even more attainable with transactional price parity between electric and diesel versions of Combo and Vivaro. As one of the first manufacturers to provide a fully electric version of every model in our van line-up, and with our electric van manufacturing plant in Ellesmere Port, we are committed to electrifying Britain’s businesses.”
