Peugeot Introduces more Attractive Pricing Across its Car Range

In an effort to expand its range of cars to more customers, Peugeot has made their entire line-up more affordable with reduced pricing.

The new pricing applies to all powertrains offered (ICE/hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric) and to all trim levels. Electric versions now sit between the petrol and hybrid cars in the price point and with some models its making Peugeot’s EV’s the cheapest option, thanks to the Electric Car Grant.

The plug-in hybrid works out as the most expensive fuel choice by far, and it goes against the grain of it’s sister brand Vauxhall that introduced price parity for the new Astra across all powertrains and body styles.

Entry prices are shown below for each model including the Electric Car Grant for EV versions:

Peugeot proudly states that it has the most comprehensive range of electric cars in it’s line-up offering nine EV variants in total.
And with their EV options being either the least expensive fuel choice, or close to it, the savings don’t end there because every electric car that Peugeot offers doesn’t breach the Expensive Car Supplement threshold of £50,000 (excluding options), saving customers £2,200 in additional taxes.

Yet, for all other fuel types the ECS kicks in at £40,000 making ownership more expensive from years 1 to 6, even for plug-in hybrids which represent the most expensive option across the range. You really have to love one to want one.

Nicola Dobson, Managing Director, PEUGEOT UK, said: “These changes strengthen PEUGEOT’s position in the mainstream market by making our range more accessible than ever to both retail and fleet customers. We’re broadening our appeal while continuing to offer the sophisticated design, high-quality interiors, engaging driving experience and innovative technology for which we are known. The revised pricing supports our retail growth and enhances our competitiveness for company car drivers and fleet operators alike.”

Peugeot’s electric cars all benefit from the ‘PEUGEOT ELECTRIC PROMISE’, to provide peace-of-mind motoring, as detailed below:

  • 8-year / 100,000 miles vehicle cover thanks to the PEUGEOT CARE***, the broadest coverage of any European brand.

  • 8-year / 100,000 miles battery warranty.
