Kia Models Cheaper thanks to the Electric Car Grant
Good news, because Kia now has 10 models that qualify for the Electric Car Grant across their line-up.
Not only is the new-to-launch Kia EV2 eligible, but also the EV3, EV4 and PV5 now all qualify for some level of grant.
The Kia EV4 is now available with the maximum Band 1 Government Electric Car Grant (ECG) where it had previously qualified for the lower Band 2 grant of £1,500.
It means the EV4 now gets the full £3,750 grant for the ‘Air’ and ‘Motion’ trims, bringing the prices below that of the Kia EV3. A long range Kia EV4 now starts from £33,245 which will get you a family hatchback capable of driving 388 miles of range, according to the WLTP tests.
Further good news comes for MPV customers with the excellent Kia PV5 now eligible for the Band 2 discount.
