INEOS Hits Record Sales in Q1 for its Grenadier and Quartermaster

Sales for the Grenadier and Quartermaster hit a new record for Q1 2026 with significant fleet orders from emergency services, utilities, rental and defence and security.

As we reported earlier in the week, there were positive signs of growth in both passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles according to SMMT data and INEOS Automotive has had its best quarter yet. Orders for the Grenadier 4X4 are up 20% on the same period last year thanks to strong retail sales and an increase in new fleet supply agreements.

More than 35,000 vehicles have been delivered around the world since its launch over 3 years ago, primarily to retail customers. However, INEOS have noticed a significant increase in interest and greater volumes of enquiries from fleets over the past six months.

INEOS says that “orders from corporate, non-profit and public service fleets have been a key part of INEOS Automotive’s long-term strategy from its earliest days. The record success follows the positive reception of the latest model-year and Black Edition from media and customers”.

Fleet orders have poured in from across the world in Q1 from a wide spectrum of organisations, and each with different use cases, such as the Kenyan Red Cross, Hertz in North America and fire and rescue services from parts of Europe.

The INEOS Grenadier is now on sale in 50 global markets across North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, China and Australia.
