The Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback shows Fiat’s design direction with two stylish body styles.

For now Fiat has only provided official images of the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, but further details are yet to be announced.

Fiat is targeting the C-segment crossover market with the Grizzly’s, and it has been built on a shared global platform and intended to be sold worldwide. It at least looks appealing to European tastes.

Fiat claims its Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback have two different personalities, and summarises them as follows:

The Grizzly is intended as a versatile option that’s spacious and suited to family life. It has a more upright stance whilst sitting on compact proportions, but without compromising the interior and cargo practicality.

Grizzly Fastback - as Fiat states - “expresses a more dynamic and sophisticated spirit, with a sleek silhouette and a more refined, expressive look and greater longitudinal cargo capacity for longer trips and lifestyle-oriented use”.

The Grizzly’s are built on a multi-fuel platform meaning that multiple powertrains are likely to be available. For now, only the Battery Electric Vehicle and Petrol versions have been mentioned, but with the availability of hybrids and plug-in hybrids from the Stellantis group, I would speculate that these will also become an option as FIAT tries to suit individuals needs, irrespective of region or country.

Fiat states the Grizzly’s share a compact footprint of just under 4.5 meters, but they outline its practicality as market leading, although no specific information has been shared to validate that just yet.

The Grizzly family will be introduced in Europe and in the Middle East & Africa in the second half of 2026.

Olivier Francois, FIAT CEO & Stellantis Global CMO summarises the Grizzly: “Grande Panda marked the return of FIAT to affordable family movers. With Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, we’re completing this lineup with two vehicles designed around different needs, different lifestyles, but sharing the same idea: smart, accessible and rooted in FIAT's design DNA. Together, they bring FIAT back at the heart of the family mobility market with a complete and coherent line-up”.
