AION delivers attractive finance package for its new SUV

One of the limiting factors for newcomers to the UK market is not necessarily the car’s list price, but whether it can produce an enticing finance package. At £36,450, it’s already offering value for money with its 317-mile range and 30–80% rapid charging in just 18 minutes, but it’s the finance package that matters to customers rather than a fixed price.

Competing against well established brands like Skoda with its Enyaq and Volkswagen with its ID.4, not only has AION introduced a first for the U.K. market with its AION Great 8 Promise (a transferrable eight years’ of warranty, servicing, MOT and roadside assistance), but AION has just added another dollop of appeal with its zero-deposit, zero percent finance deal on its AION V SUV.

AION states “this September, the spacious and luxurious AION V electric family SUV is available with a limited-time PCP offer from £399 per month with 0% APR, and a deposit of £2,199. For customers who want to avoid the initial outlay, the AION V is offered with zero customer deposit and 0% finance from £449 per month, as part of a suite of flexible finance tailored to customer needs”.

The small print mentions the September offer applies to eligible AION V vehicles ordered during September 2026 and delivered by 31 October 2026, subject to availability, finance approval and applicable terms and conditions.

If successful, this could be AION’s gateway to establishing a strong foothold in the U.K. market with a very compelling package designed to be customer centric with appealing finance and a great after-sales service that also involves a concierge at the tap of a smartphone.

There’s only one trim level with the AION V, but an optional Premium Pack for just £20 extra per month (on PCP) adds leather seating, massage front seats, the unique 6.6-litre AION CoolHot Box and a rear seatback tray table and more to an already high spec package. This is normally a £1,450 cost option package.

A Volkswagen ID.4 Pro 79 kWh with similar range and charging abilities, but in base spec trim, starts from £36,995, and with the same £2,199 deposit it will set customers back £510 per month and is subject to 3.5% APR PCP finance. At £0 customer deposit, that rises to £560 per month, making the AION V over £100 per month less expensive.
