The New Omoda 7 Debuts at London Fashion Week
I can’t say that I follow fashion at all, but Omoda seems to be on-trend with the launch of their new Omoda 7 SUV appearing at the London Fashion Show. However, being its official partner, Omoda was providing VIP transport to the event in the all-new OMODA 7, for those fortunate to attend.

Victor Zhang, UK Country Director, OMODA UK, said: “For OMODA, partnering with British Fashion Council at London Fashion Week represents a meeting point between design, creativity, and technology. Those values are already central to how we think about modern mobility and a more sustainable way of living. The OMODA 7 is a car built around those same principles, and its dynamic debut here reflects our confidence in its relevance to contemporary British life, and fashion-forward status.”
Due to arrive at dealerships in March, this mid-sized SUV is priced from £29,915 for the petrol version and from £32,000 for the plug-in hybrid version. Positioned between the well-established Omoda 5 and the newly introduced Omoda 9, the 7 plugs an obvious gap in the line-up.

Omoda claims to have created a mid-sized SUV with a sporty silhouette, but in reality its a very practical car with a boot capacity of 639 litres.
The plug-in hybrid powertrain claims an EV only range of 56 miles (WLTP), but combined, this Super Hybrid System (as Omoda calls it) will deliver a very impressive 745 miles on a single tank and single charge, placing it right at the top-end of diesel range territory, albeit with fewer emissions.
Inside looks to be inspired by Tesla with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, with two wireless charging pads sitting underneath. There’s also intelligent voice control, but no word on whether that’s AI driven with natural language capabilities.
There are five colours to choose from with Laminar Green being the only non-monochrome colour available.

The OMODA 7 comes with the usual Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, such as forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, traffic congestions assiste system and rear collision warning.
There’s no word of an electric version yet, but as with all Omoda models, it comes with a 7-year 100,000 mile warranty and an 8-year 100,000 battery warranty for the PHEV version. RAC Homestart is standard for the length of the warranty.
