hinese EV brand Changan Automobile has confirmed it now has more than 60 dealer sites across the UK, less than a year after entering the market with the Deepal S07 electric SUV.

The company says the rapid expansion gives it nationwide coverage across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as it looks to establish itself against growing competition from other Chinese car brands entering Britain.

Changan currently offers the Deepal S07 and Deepal S05 in the UK, with plug-in hybrid versions due later this year. The brand is also working with Thatcham Research on insurance and repair standards while expanding its UK aftersales and parts operation.
