iCAUR readies its smaller V25 for launch

Following the launch of the iCaur V27 last week, Chery International has also been showcasing its new new mid-sized iCAUR V25 SUV, with more than a passing resemblance to a Toyota Landcruiser, an old Land Rover Defender and a Mercedes G-Wagon.

The smaller, equally rugged looking 4×4 has iCAUR’s “‘Born to Play’ philosophy: a belief in self-expression over conformity, in challenging convention, and in the freedom to explore. It celebrates individuality and the enjoyment of every drive”, and it does look good.

Whilst UK plans for the model have yet to be confirmed, the V25 has been revealed for international markets and the good news is that iCAUR’s UK debut is expected in early 2027 with flagship V27 and possibly the V25 model.

Much like the V27, the smaller V25 will use Chery’s new energy technology, offering hybrids, plug-in hybrids and possibly even battery electric versions, too.

iCAUR says the V25 is made for both commutes and outdoor adventures suggesting that it may even have some off-road talent. However, specs are absent and iCAUR will release details of the iCAUR V25, including any plans for the UK, in due course.
